im in naoshima right now, and it's december. but i began my post-hsc japan trip with a week in okinawa from the 9th to the 16th of november. i spent my time hanging out with family - especially my baby cousin - and forcing my uncle to take me to castle ruins (among other places). even nearing the end of autumn it was 30ºC every frickn day (i was actually, literally dripping sweat from my chin when we went to nakagusuku castle) and it still felt like summer - typical.

i've been updating my youtube channel with videos of my trip, but i will also start to upload some photos and blogposts :~) even if u don't enjoy these, i love them - these photos and moments are some that i don't get to have very often. time in okinawa is special to me, and i feel it gets more precious as i grow older since time between visits get longer and longer. this island feels like home even though i've never lived here - and i've come to understand the quote, "home is not a place, it's a feeling."
