The rush to the end of the year is here! Late nights editing videos for school projects, early mornings rehearsing dances and running from teacher to teacher explaining why I won't be in class for that period. Probably the time of year when I am most tired and sleep deprived, but also the most fun and energetic time. Next weekend I'll be performing in the annual Schools Spectacular, don't forget to catch it on Channel 9! Apology for being a little MIA/if I am a little MIA in the coming weeks. Hope everyone is enjoying the end of the year.

今年も、もうすぐ終わりだね！今は学校のプロジェクトの仕上げや、ダンスの練習ですごく忙しいです。この時期が一番疲れるけど、一番楽しい時期でもある。来週末は、毎年シドニーエンターテイメントセンターでやってるスクールスペクタキュラーで踊ります！テレビでも放送されるからすごく楽しみです。気合いすごい入ってます！みんなも年末は忙しいですか？

sculpture by the sea


I've always wanted to go and see the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition but somehow miss it every year... Except this year! It was kind of gloomy last Saturday but who cares about weather, right? The walk along the beaches was lovely and soothing, and there was a variety of sculptures out on display. It was an overcast Saturday afternoon so it wasn't that crowded, which was also lovely. My favourite sculptures were the glass ball (photo #12), the red head (#13) and the colourful rock (#11). The girl posing in front of the red head sculpture was pretty cute too.

毎年行きたいなぁ～って言ってた「Sculpture by the Sea」に今年やっと行けた！ちょっと天気が悪かったけどそのせいでそんなに人が居なかったからよかった。それに、雨は降らなかったから大丈夫だった。ビーチを散歩しながら色んな素敵な彫刻を見るのはすごく楽しくてリラックスできた。私のお気に入りの彫刻はガラスのボール（12番の写真）、赤い頭（13番）と色鮮やかな岩（11番）。赤い頭の前で写真のためにポーズしてた女の子も超可愛かった。

Fun fact #1: my favourite colour is pink! Fun fact #2: I don't recollect that I was fondly attached to Hello Kitty during my early childhood but I have a substantial amount of Hello Kitty merchandise, including this backpack (the straps are the longest they can be and it fits quite snug on my back). And on the morning of when I wore this outfit I had a mini friendly argument with my mum about this backpack. "It doesn't match with the rest of the outfit!" she argued but who could say no to a black-white-pink outfit finished off with a cute ass Hello Kitty backpack from circa 2004?

小さい時にハローキティーが好きだった記憶は無いけど意外とハローキティーのグッズが多い。このリュックはその一つ。ストラップを一番長くしてギリギリオッケーって言うぐらい小さいころのリュックです。モノクロームのコーデをピンクのアクセントで可愛くしたよ。このコーデを着た日にママに「そのリュックはその格好に合わないんじゃない」って言われたけどこんなカワイイくて便利なリュックを家においとけ無かった。
