Fashion Weekend Runway

The first runway I have ever shot! These are some of my favourite looks from the Fashion Weekend Sydney Essential Catwalk.

Bec & Bridge
The Bec & Bridge walk featured pieces from their FW 12/13 collection entitled 'Paradiso Bianco Capsule.' I loved the simple yet magical looking pieces, especially the blouse pictured above with the gorgeous print.

Style Stalker

From the Style Stalker line I loved the clean cut shapes of the dresses in conjunction with abstract prints. Those leggings especially caught my eye!

Watson x Watson

One of my favourite looks of the whole cat walk was the number by Watson x Watson with the red top, printed pants and the wide brimmed hat. I thought it was super cute, looking smart but also playful at the same time.

Ixiah

Loved the exotic feel that the Ixiah walk had; from the gorgeous blue colour on the dress, to the beautiful royal looking dress. I loved the detailing on the fabrics and the flash of metallics in the looks.

Nicola Finetti

The dresses by Nicola Finetti were absolutely gorgeous. I loved how they had simple lines and quite neutral colours but still made a statement with a cutout or a unique silhouette.

Talulah

The colours were so fun and cute, and I loved the watercolour looking prints. The wildly printed skirt suit was just stunning!

Hussy

I loved how Hussy incorporated a more edgy feel to their girly pieces; pairing black boots with sweet peach-y coloured dresses. The galaxy looking print was also a beaut!

Natasha

My absolute favourite collection of the whole runway! I loved the earthy patterned dresses and the stunning floor-length bold red gown. The red purse was also the cutest.

By Johnny

Slim, long silhouettes paired with peplums and gorgeous prints. I loved how the pink peplum get-up had a bit of a sport luxe feel with the crop top.

Christensen Copenhagen

Loved the gold patterned trousers and the geometric printed matching blouse and skirt. The floral print of the last outfit was probably the best print of the whole cat walk! The colours and the arrangement was just gorgeous.

The whole catwalk was fabulous, with the opportunity to see the collections of 10 designers at once!

Fashion Weekend Sydney 2013

First off this is a very belated post, I'm super sorry! But better late than never, right? Anyway, on the 19th May I went to Fashion Weekend Sydney with Ethel from fashiondiction (and a super duper special thanks to Camille from frillyskirts for letting me go!). It was the last day so pretty much all the stock, which was already super cheap to begin with, all had further reductions. With dresses starting at $5 I was pretty much in clothing heaven. There were stalls full of gorgeous pieces, with some of my favourites being Casper and Pearl, Limedrop and Doury. There was also a cat walk featuring 10 Australian designers! It was my first time seeing a cat walk and I was pretty overwhelmed, in a good way. It was a fabulous experience and can't wait for next year!
