This. I wish I was brighter than gold. I'm not quite sure what it means, but it sounds magical! Speaking of magical (very smoothly transitioning to another topic...) spending a day out with Shanni is quite magical. She makes it so much fun to eat out (cheap-ass and homebody right here), take photos and explore the dodgy back streets of quirky towns like Newtown. Ooh, and my first ever peplum top! Was the last in my size and only $10 from Maurie and Eve at Fashion Weekend Sydney. Also a beautiful leather necklace that I am head-over-heels for!

I can't get over the look of leather at the moment. I dream about it in the car, on the way to dance. Seriously. It just looks so luxurious, as if you're wearing a coat of caramel. That would be quite sweet, though! Perfect on top of a pleated skort that looks a bit like a cupcake, a bit like a meringue. To top it off, some striking red knee-high socks that could be a waterfall of red jelly beans or maybe an endless supply of red sprinkles. Well, describing my outfit with sweets is kind of making me hungry for some cake! It's already nine though, maybe time for a midnight feast?

Anyway, all I really wanted to say was that I wore this to Fashion Weekend Sydney last Sunday and had a blast. My first ever runway shots coming soon!

Best part? The rainbow socks, of course! They remind me of my childhood and make me happy. Heck, a pair of rainbow socks can make anyone happy! And if all the bricks behind me were the colours from my socks, it would be a real life lego house! If only...

You would've never guessed that my goldfish tshirt is actually a men's tee. It's just too cute. Just like Shanni, who I walked around (pretty much) the whole of Pyrmont with. We chatted and took heaps of photos. I had too much fun exploring this beautiful suburb. Wish I lived there, an outfit background at every turn.

T.U.K Mondo Leather Creeper

My first (and probably not last) flatform type shoes ever! And also my new favourite shoes (as you can probably tell from the past few outfits)! I know that pretty much everyone says this but they are actually so comfortable and easy to match up with any outfit. I love how they are so comfortable to walk in but they jazz up any outfit (and give that bit of extra height for shorties like myself!).

Prefect ensemble to hang out with friends at a park. I always trot my little bum off to the Royal Botanic Garden to be silly with my friends. We eat excessive amounts of fairy bread, take one too many jump photos and roll around in the grass gossiping while playing Bejeweled on our beloved iPhones (multitasking ftw!).

School starts today (yay for being organised and preparing posts!) so I won't be able to post every second day anymore, although I will try. And we can't run to our favourite park in our favourite shoes anymore. But if we all work hard, good things will come! Hope you are all having a great week.
